FBR to promote superintendents, principal appraisers as assistant collectors

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to promote superintendents and principal appraisers to the rank of Assistant Collectors (ACs) of Customs.

In a meeting held, the customs appraisers and superintendents have been asked to complete their ACRs.

According to sources, the board has told the chief collectors and collectors to order the superintendents and principal appraisers to submit their ACRs for their promotions to fulfill the seats of ACs.

Initially five superintendents and two principal appraisers have been ordered to complete their ACRs. The principal appraisers and superintendents working in Lahore Dry Port and other stations of the Customs Land and Airport including Muhammad Ijaz Shaheen, Ammer Ahmad, Naeem ullah, Saleemullah, Muhammad Ikram, Zafar Iqbal and Inam Rabani have been asked to submit ACRs.
