KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has started taking action against owners of non-custom paid and smuggled vehicles. According to sources, the FBR will take stern action against the owners of the vehicles in the second week of June. The action include registration of case and seizure of vehicle.
The sources clarified that the FBR will issue necessary notification in this regard after which action will take place.
Customs Intelligence is already working on a plan to get a clue of non-custom paid and smuggles vehicles, upon finding a vehicles its owner will be arrested and FIR will be registered against him. During operation Custom Officials will get support from police, and rangers . Sources said that many owners of luxurious vehicles did not even posses NTN number.
