LAHORE: The Regional Tax Offices-I and II (RTO-I&II) have constituted special teams to unearth hidden accounts of tax defaulters. The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will take action against those bankers who found involved in facilitation in operating hidden accounts.
According to the details, the Regional Tax Offices of Federal Board of Revenue have started speedy action against tax defaulters in this regards.
Source told Customs Today that FBR teams will trace out the hidden accounts for the recovery of tax amount. In this regards, the FBR will freeze bank accounts and will seal the properties of tax defaulters for tax recovery.
The Regional Tax Offices teams will continue crackdown till end of the financial year and this step has been taken to meet the target of the financial year 2015-16.
