FBR urged to extend date for filing of ST annex c till 15th

KARACHI: The chemicals and dyers merchants have asked the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to extend the last date for filing of sales tax ‘annex c’ up to August 15.

Pakistan Chemicals and Dyers Merchant Association (PCDMA) Chairman Khawaja Arif Kapoor, in a statement, said that earlier the last date of filing return was fixed as August 15 which was suddenly changed to August 10. He said that the taxpayers are facing immense hardships and are unable to timely submit their returns. He said that the business acuities remain sluggish due to heavy rains in the country and the members of the association are unable to file tax return on time.
