FBR warns four companies to pay Rs 3.8 million

KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued notices to four textile and chemical companies to recover Rs 3.8 million in the wake of taxes.

The FBR issued final notices to two textiles companies, including M/s Al Monira Garments and M/s Fariha, which are allegedly involved in tax evasion of Rs 1.6 million.

The FBR also warned two chemicals companies named M/s Nice Chemicals and Exports and Albarohi Chemicals to pay outstanding taxes of Rs 400,000 and Rs 2.2 million, respectively.

In the notices, the department warned the companies to pay taxes until May 10 otherwise stern action will be taken against them.
