KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has warned that all those who fail to submit their sales tax returns in fiscal year 2014-15 will be ‘blacklisted’.
Sources informed Customs Today that the FBR sent them many notices, advising them to clear their outstanding sales tax arrears but a lot of persons are not taking these notices seriously and willfully avoiding to pay sales tax.
Now the FBR has decided to ‘blacklist’ all those defaulters and put a ban on their trade activities . The FBR authorities are preparing final lists in this regard. A crackdown will be started against all such people soon.
