FBR’s BTB freezes bank accounts of 100 millionaires for tax evasion

LAHORE:  The Federal Board of Revenue’s Broadening of Tax Base (BTB) has frozen the bank accounts of around 100 millionaires for tax evasion. The suspects are living in the posh areas of Lahore.

Sources told Customs Today that the BTB zone has started a crackdown against those who own luxury vehicles and houses, and make huge bank transactions but do not paying taxes. The FBR gets information through tracker system.
