FBR’s RTO-II collects Rs 15.6 billion during October-November

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax office (RTO) II has collected almost Rs 15.6 billion taxes during October-November of current fiscal year.
As per detail, FBR had set Rs 16.5 billion target for second quarter for the RTO-II, while it has collected 15.6 billion which is 25 percent more than the last year. The revenue of Rs 5.6 billion in December, 2014 was collected while the target was Rs 6.1 billion.
Sources also informed that authorities have directed commissioner, deputy commissioner and special assistants to expedite the work regarding the collections of taxes to achieve the target of third quarter.
