FCAG delegation calls on collector customs

PESHAWAR: A delegation headed by the President, Frontier Customs Agents Group (FCAG), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Vice Chairman, All Pakistan Customs Agents Association (APCAA), Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi Tuesday called on the newly posted Collector Customs, Peshawar, Ghulam Rehman Khan and congratulated him on assuming the charge and expressed goods wishes for him.Other members of the delegation were included Khalid Shehzad, Imtiaz Ahmad Ali, and Asif Jamal.

The delegation briefed the Collector Customs regarding difficulties faced by importers, exporters and clearing agents at dry port, Torkham Customs Station and Bacha Khan International Airport (BKIA) Peshawar and stressed need for initiating steps for their resolution.

The Collector Customs, Gul Rehman Khan thanked the delegation and said that he had arrived with the spirit of the service of the nation and country and assured them of all kind of steps for the resolution of the problems of business community. He also agreed with the problems highlighted by the delegation and assured that the collectorate will resolve the problems of customs agents on priority bases.

In response to the assurance of the Collector Customs, Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi expressed gratitude on giving sympathic consideration to their grievances and on behalf of his group extended all possible cooperation to him.
