FCCI to start one-day training workshop on online exports

FAISALABAD: Globally the online trade is rapidly increasing as its current volume is estimated around 5 billion dollars, said Syed Zia Alamdar Hussain acting President of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI). He was addressing the inaugural session of one-day training workshop on “Online export marketing” organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) in collaboration with FCCI.

He said that the world is passing through a revolutionary era of evolution. The computer has entirely changed the world face and the growth rate during last 30 years after the introduction of (IT) was impossible within thousand years before the introduction of computer.

He said that IT sector is also making a tremendous progress in Pakistan and now time has come that our young entrepreneurs should avail from their God gifted qualities by focusing on online export marketing. He said that in this innovative field no show room or infrastructure is required and one can start his business while sitting at his workplace.

Syed Zia Alamdar Hussain advised the participants of the workshop to keep themselves abreast with the modern techniques including fastest communication, recoveries and efficiency. “By following these golden principles they can make tremendous progress in their lives”, he said.

He also welcomed the organization of online export marketing workshop in Faisalabad and hoped that SMEDA will prepare a comprehensive data of its trainees who had excelled in their practical lives. It will also encourage the new entrants to get training in new and modern disciplines and carve out new ways of progress and prosperity in their lives, he added.

Dr. Habib Aslm Gabba also underlined the need of training for the young entrepreneurs and said that they should fully avail from the training facilities offered by SMEDA.

He also distributed certificates among the participants of this workshop. The function was also addressed by Shafqat Jillani, Bilal Afzal Regional Business Coordinator and Suhail Mazhar Manager Training SMEDA.
