FAISALABAD: Faisalabad Dry Port Trust (FDPT) Auditor Manager Muhammad Irfan Rasool has asked the local police to provide security to him and his family following a threat and attack allegedly carried out by ex-general manager of Nasar Hayat Group.
Talking with Customs Today, Irfan Rasool stated that he lodged a complaint number 924 on August 10, 2016 against the said person at local police station. He informed that he was stopped by some armed persons near Gulistan Colony No 2 and snatched his bike, cash, cell phones and some important documents.
He further said that the armed persons also warned him to leave the Faisalabad Dry Port Trust and Faisalabad city.
Irfan said that it was all happening due to his honest working and after finding corruption of Rs 32 million by Nasar Hayat Group while auditing the record of four years i.e. 2010-14. He also alleged that the said person was also using his influence in this matter.
Irfan Rasool has requested to Punjab Police and other government agencies to take strict action against them according to law.
