ISLAMABAD: The federal government has called provincial revenue authorities to discuss issues pertaining to general sales tax (GST) on services.
According to the details, the meeting will be held at the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) headquarters in Islamabad where all heads of provincial revenue authorities will participate.
Sources said that the officials would also discuss the matter regarding the withdrawal of GST on internet services, as the federal and provincial governments have earlier announced to withdraw tax on internet services. Besides, the matter of dual taxation would also be reviewed.
During the meeting, the provincial authorities will inform the federal about the income from agriculture sector and about property tax collection.
