ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of cases carrying complaints about administrative measures of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
A division bench of the FST comprising Syed Zahid Hussain and Member Technical Dr Nazir Saeed heard two cases filed by the FBR employees, Nasir Shafique and Tahir Mehmod. The bench set March 3 as the next date of hearing and directed the parties to ensure their presence before the bench.
The appellants had filed complain against departmental administration for not following tribunal’s directive regarding their up-gradation. Both of them had submitted “implementation” cases. Advocate Muhammad Ramzan was representing appellants before the tribunal.
It worth mentioning here that FBR counsel had not yet filed any objection on the cases reflecting department’s lawful stance on the complaints regarding non-implementation of tribunal’s directives.
