ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal on Tuesday held a hearing of several service matters carrying complaints about ‘reversion’, ‘implementation’ and ‘increment’ filed by employees of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Tuesday.

Two division benches of the FST comprising Members Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Dr Nazir Saeed; and Ishtiaq Ahmed and M Javed Iqbal Kasi heard the cases. Both the benches adjourned the hearings following request from the board’s counsel.

Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Dr Nazir Saeed heard and adjourned proceedings on cases filed by Waseem Iqbal, Anjum Waheed, Said Hussain Abbasi and Abdul Sattar.

Waseem Iqbal, Anjum Waheed, and Said Hussain Abbasi had filed complaints on ‘implementation’ while Abdul Sattar had submitted a complaint about ‘withholding of three increments’.

The later bench also adjourned hearing of cases filed by Noor Muhammad, Muhammad Ishtiaque and Aurangzeb challenging reversion. They had filed their cases in 2016.

Another appellant had filed complaint about implementation by Syed Sultan Abbas. Same bench would hear the cases asking the tribunal to ensure implementation over its earlier announced decision which was not yet compiled by the board authorities.

However, in the meantime, benches also directed the concerned counsels, appellants and defendants, to submit documents and brief on arguments before the tribunal before next hearing. The benches would hold hearing of these cases again in fourth week of November.
