FIA arrests 11 human traffickers, including two wanted criminals

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency arrested 11 human traffickers during raids in Lahore, Sheikhupura and Gujranwala.
According to an FIA spokesman, special teams of the department conducted raids in Lahore, Sheikhupura and Gujranwala. The accused arrested by the FIA are involved in smuggling of innocent citizens to other countries like Greece, Dubai and Turkey.
The FIA arrested Asghar Ali, Khalid, Aftab Ahmed, Haji Muhammad Sadiq, Arslan, Ali Nawaz, Nasir, Saifullah, Habibur Rehman, Abdullah, Talha and Muhammad Hussein. Two of the arrested persons were wanted to the FIA in many cases.
The agency also recovered fake bank statements, bogus visas of different countries and a number of passports. The FIA has registered cases against human smugglers for further action and prosecution.
