FIA arrests 12 illegal money changers in Punjab, recovers Rs 30 million

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore has sped up their campaign against illegal money changers and arrested 12 suspects.

Sources told Customs Today, that FIA authorities arrested these people from Lahore, Gujranwala, Pasrur, Sialkot, Gujrat, Kharian and Jhelum and recovered foreign currency amounting to Rs 30 million.

FIA raiding team also recovered cheque books, and bank statements from their custody. All the arrested people will be produced before the court, while investigations are still underway till the filing of this report.
