FIA arrests 28 human smugglers from Gujranwala division

SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Gujranwala division, has arrested 28 human traffickers-cum-proclaimed offenders during different raids in several areas.

Reportedly, FIA Deputy Director Khalid Anees constituted a team under the command of Sub-Inspector Rana Mostahisan to arrest the human traffickers.

Rana Mostahisan conducted raids along with his team in Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot and Mandi Bahauddin and arrested 28 human traffickers named Kashif, Adil, Rashid, Naeem, Zubair, Munir, Rehamat, Riaz, Shabbir, Zakaullah, Mubarak, Junaid, Shahid, Arshad, Asif, Nazar Muhammad, Jamal Din and others.

The accused were involved in sending people abroad, especially Turkey, Japan, German, Finland, Tajikistan etc. on fake visa and documents after extorting hug amounts.

The FIA team has recovered fake visas, documents and stamps from their possession. Cases have been registered against the accused persons.

Meanwhile, the FIA arrested 12 persons named Nabi Ahmed, Nazir, Shabbir, Shuakat, Ali Raza, Muoiz, Nabeel, Noor Ahmed, Qasim, Bilal, Rizwan, Imran who were deported from Turkey.
