Court suspends ONO issued by adjudication on plea by co-accused in Ayyan Ali case

ISLAMABAD: The Lahore High Court Rawalpindi bench has suspended the Order-in-Original (ONO) issued by the collector adjudication. The court suspended the ONO after hearing of contempt of court case filed by Awais, co-accused in Ayyan Ali case.

During the hearing of the case, the court announced to grant exemption to Collector Adjudication Mohammad Ali Raza and Assistant Collector Tahir Iqbal Khattak to appear in court. During the hearing, the counsel for the collector adjudication said that his client is transferred to Gilgit-Baltistan and it is quite difficult for him to appear in court.
