FIA arrests 3 human traffickers from Punjab

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested three suspects who are allegedly involved in human trafficking from different cities of the Punjab.

According to the FIA spokesperson, a number of FIA teams raided different areas of Lahore and arrested two human traffickers who were identified as Aurangzeb and Dastgir.

In another raid, a dangerous and most wanted human trafficker was also arrested by the FIA. Human trafficker Muhammad Jamil was involved in sending people illegally to Libya through different routes while during his act a citizen died in a container.

All human traffickers were involved in sending people abroad on fake documents and visas. They have looted these innocent people after giving them surety of their bright future in Europe and Gulf states.

They also were managing to send many people to Italy on bogus documents. FIA has also seized cheque books, computer, laptop, prize bonds and deposit slips from the offices and hidden places. Fake visas and bank statements have also recovered from the arrested smugglers.
