LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested seven human traffickers during raids in different areas of Lahore.
According to the details, Anti-Human Trafficking Cell of the agency raided different areas of Lahore division and arrested the suspects identified as Muhammad Ramazan, Muhammad Imran, Hafiz Atif Bhatti, Tariq Saeed and Illyas Ahmed.
The FIA has registered cases against them under sections of human smuggling and fraud with citizens.
Arrested accused were involved in sending innocent citizens to foreign countries on bogus documents and also looted millions of rupees from innocent people in guise of sending them abroad. The FIA also recovered passports and currency of different countries from them.
Number of complaints were registered against these accuses. The FIA has shifted them to unknown place for further investigation and prosecution.
