FIA arrests two suspects in illegal money transfer case

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a suspect who was involved in illegal transfer of money.

Customs officials told Customs Today that inspectors Nasir Awan and Abdul Qayyum raided Godown no 13 in Misri Shah Market Lahore where Zahir Khan was found involved in illegal business of hundi hawala. During the search, the team recovered manual receipts worth Rs  2.633 million and photocopies of CNICs etc.

FIR NO 78/2016 dated 22-09-2016 u/s 4,8,23 FER ACT, 4AML ACT 2010 FIA CCC Lahore has been registered against the arrested accused Zahir Khan and Muhammad Khan. Both arrested persons are Afghan national.
