FIA arrests five notorious human traffickers

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency has speed up its crackdown against human smugglers and their agents in Lahore and all over the country.

According to sources of Customs Today during two days on Sunday and Monday FIA in different action has nabbed five notorious human smugglers. On a tip-off, the FIA conducted a raid at a hideout and arrested two suspected human traffickers identified as Ashiq Muhammad and Sharif Faisal. In another action FIA booked alleged trafficker from nearby area of Lahore identified as Khuram Munir, while Rizwan Talat, Muhammad Saleem and Mazhar Hayat were also booked in different actions.

The FIA raiding team also recovered dozens of fake passports, national identity cards, fake visa stickers and other important traveling documents from the alleged human traffickers’ possession. The suspects were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.

All human traffickers were books by the anti human trafficking cell of FIA.
