FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a human smuggler during a raid in Bawa Chak near Noorani Mosque Faisalabad.
Sources informed Customs Today that Assistant Director Chaudhary Mazharullah and Sub-Inspector Muhammad Nadeem received credible information that a person is running an illegal business of sending innocent people abroad after extorting huge amounts from them.
The FIA team raided the residence and arrested the accused person who was identified as Zaheer Sayal. During the initial interrogations, the accused said that he received Rs 185,000 from Muhammad Shaukat Ali son of Mohammad Shafi to send him to Dubai.
The FIA sent the accused behind bars after registration a case number 46/16 against him .
