SIALKOT: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) team conducted raids and arrested human trafficker cum proclaimed offenders in Lahore and Gujranwala Division on other day.
Sources told Customs Today that Deputy Director FIA Gujranwala division Khalid Anees Dar received applications from effected people and conducted raids at Lahore, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahawal Din and Gujrat along with his team and nabbed 9 human traffickers cum proclaimed offenders namely Anjum Anees, Saad Nasir, Abdul Latif, Arshad Nazir, Muhammad Arif, Rana Imran, Tariq Waqas, Sana Ullah and Mukhtar Hussain.
These nabbed human traffickers were involved in human trafficking from long time and they were sending people abroad on fake and bogus documents and visas. FIA has registered the cases against accused while further investigation is under the way.
