SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested three human traffickers and their agents during a crackdown.
Sources informed Customs Today that Deputy Director FIA Gujranwala Region Khalid Anees received information that some persons were send innocent people abroad after extorting huge amount from them.
He constituted a team which conducted many raids at Kamoke, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi and Sialkot. The team arrested three human traffickers who were later identified as Iftikhar, Musa, Rashid and their agents namely Murad, Nabi Ahmed and Afzal. The FIA team also recovered many passports, fake visas and other documents from the possession of the accused. Cases have been registered against the suspects and further investigations are underway.
