FIA arrests six human traffickers from Gujranwala division

SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Gujranwala division nabbed six human traffickers-cum-proclaimed offenders during several raids the other day.

Sources informed Customs Today that Deputy Director FIA Gujranwala Division Khalid Anees constituted a team under the supervision of Sub-Inspector Mohsin Butt to arrest human traffickers-cum-proclaimed offenders. The sub-inspector along with his team raided Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat and Narowal and arrested six suspects. The names of the accused persons are Mansoor Hussain, Javed Bhatti, Naveed Tahir, Fahad Tahir and Muhammad Sawar.

The accused were involved in illegal business of human trafficking since long. They sent many people to Turkey, Malaysia, Japan, Russia, UK etc.on fake visas and documents and these people were deported. The team have recovered fake visas, documents, letter pads of various embassies and stamp from the possession of accused. The team have registered the cases against accused and further investigations are under way.
