FIA arrests three accused involve in human trafficking

SIALKOT: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has busted an international gang of the human traffickers and arrested three big extortionists while collecting the extortion money forcibly from the heirs and grieved families of some youths.  They had been sent to Turkey via Iran illegally where some Pakistani agents detained them in their some private torture cells at various places in Turkey.

Divisional Deputy Director FIA Ch. Khalid Anees told Customs Today that the accused turned-kidnappers used to torture the kidnapped youths in Turkey and their accused companions in Pakistan were used to collect the ransom money from the grieved families of these youths for their early release.

He said that two such victim families had approached the FIA, seeking FIA help, in this regard. The deputy director revealed that the FIA tightened its noose on the pointed out accused extortionists here and arrested three dangerous accused Irfan, Imran and Gulfam. The FIA officials recovered ransom money from the heirs of two victim youths Zaman and Bilal who were sent to Turkey via Iran some months ago.

He narrated that the FIA has got both of the kidnapped youths Bilal and Zaman, kidnapped and detained there in Turkey.

He assured that FIA has sent the accused extortionists behind the bars after registering separate cases against them.
