FIA arrests three notorious human traffickers

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a most wanted human trafficker and two proclaimed offenders allegedly involved in human smuggling in different arrears.

According to FIA spokesperson, an accused, Muhammad Iqbal, was arrested from nearby area of Mandi Bahauddin. He was most wanted human smuggler and placed on serial number 37 in red book. He was involved in sending people abroad on fake documents and even through land route from Iran and Turkey to Greece. He was put on red book almost two years ago after receiving dozens of complaints.

In other raids, the FIA has nabbed two human traffickers namely as Muhamad Ali and Faiz Ahmad from Narowal and Gujranwala. Number of passports, fake visas and other documents were also recovered from their possession.

The spokesman said that accused minted millions of rupees from several youngsters seeking jobs abroad. FIRs were already registered against them.
