FIA arrests two human traffickers

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two alleged human traffickers during separate raids and recovered Rs. 0.3 million from their possession.

According to a spokesperson of the FIA, the suspects named Junaid and Naveed had tricked a person named Saeed into giving Rs. 0.3 million for an employment opportunity in the African country of Libya. Saeed did not get the job nor was his money returned.

The FIA, after receiving information of the incident, arrested Naveed from Toba Tek Singh and Junaid from Ichra area of Lahore. Junaid is the owner of a travel agency in Lahore.

The FIA has started investigation against both Naveed and Junaid.
