FIA arrests two human traffickers-cum-proclaimed offenders from Sialkot

SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two notorious proclaimed offenders (POs)-cum-human traffickers here.

Divisional Deputy Director FIA Khalid Anees told Customs Today that the FIA has arrested accused proclaimed offenders Naveed Tahir Mughal and his son Fahad Naveed from their residence at Sialkot city’s congested Nasir Road locality.

He said that the accused were wanted by the FIA in different cases of human trafficking. He added that the both of the accused father and son had been running their illegal business of sending the innocent people abroad illegally especially to European, African and Asian countries and the Gulf States after extorting big amounts from them.

Divisional Deputy Director Khalid Anees added that the FIA has sent the accused behind the bars after registering separate cases against them. Further investigations are underway, in this regard.
