FIA arrests two notorious human traffickers from Gujranwala

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two human traffickers in separate crackdowns.

Sources told Customs Today that anti-human trafficking cell of the FIA raided a locality in Gujranwala and arrested Ansar Iqbal son of Sardar, a resident of village Noinkey district Gujranwala. The FIA team also arrested another accused Irfan Ali son of  Abdul Majeed, a resident of Qila Dedar Singh Gujranwala.

The FIA has registered separate cases against the suspects under sections of the human smuggling and fraud with citizens.

Arrested accused were involved in sending innocent citizens to foreign countries on bogus documents and also looted millions of rupees in frauds on the wake of sending them abroad. FIA also recovered passports and currency of different countries. Number of complaints were registered against these accuses in this regard. FIA has shifted them to unknown place for further investigation and prosecution.
