FIA forms teams to keep eye on pilferage of electricity, gas

SIALKOT: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has formulated several vigilance teams to keep vigilant eye on the pilferage of electricity and gas, besides, further tightening its circle around the electricity and gas thieves, as the FIA has also decided to launch a massive crackdown against  the record-holding accused in a bid to halt the electricity and gas pilferage in all the six Gujranwala Division including Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahaud Din, Hafizabad and Gujranwala districts.

According to the Deputy Director FIA Gujranwala Sikandar Hayyat Malik, the special FIA vigilance teams have already started the round-the-clock vigilance of those accused that were caught red handed by stealing the electricity and gas in their homes, commercial places, shopping markets, shopping plazas, industrial units and factories as well.
