ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has obtained transit remand for Omni Group CEO Anwar Majeed who was arrested on Wednesday in a fake bank accounts case. FIA produced Majeed and his son Abdul Ghani Majeed before Magistrate Rizwanuddin in Sector F-8 kutchery with request for a transit remand, which the judge allowed. They will be taken by the FIA to Karachi where the investigation agency had registered a case of Rs35 billion transactions through 29 suspicious bank accounts.
