FIA to launch advertisement campaign against human-traffickers

SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has decided to launch a vigorous advertisement campaign against the notorious human traffickers-turned-proclaimed offenders in Gujranwala Division’s all the six districts — Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahaud Din, Hafizabad and Gujranwala — besides, vowing to make all out efforts to ensure their early arrest.

Deputy Director FIA Gujranwala Khalid Anees told Customs Today that the FIA has also decided to upgrade the data and official record of all the human traffickers and proclaimed offenders, saying that there were old photos and  particulars of the suspects and proclaimed offenders in the FIA’s record as most of these accused had already changed their get ups.

He said that FIA had the photos of the accused in which they were clean shaved and now the accused had the beards and mustaches, and the accused having beards and mustaches in FIA record photos now had become clean shaved, as the most of the accused had also changed disguises to avert their possible arrests by the FIA, in this regard. Due to which the FIA was facing great difficulties in their arrests as well.

He said that the FIA has started chalking out the new sketches of the notorious human traffickers turned proclaimed offenders (POs), in this regard. He said that these new sketches of the accused human traffickers would be displayed properly at all the important public places, besides, ensuring their publication in the newspapers , pamphlets, broachers and even on social media for massive public awareness about the human traffickers as well.

He urged the public to instantly inform FIA about the presence and residence of the dubious persons in their respective areas…#
