Finance Minister, FBR officials to meet with Swiss authorities on 23rd June

ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar along with high officials of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is going to meet with high officials of Swiss authorities on 23rd of June.

Federal Finance Minister Dar expressed these views during a press briefing on Federal Budget 2016-17, the minister said that the FBR ,Security amd Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and SBP has been directed to make legislation regarding money transferred to abroad by Pakistan nationals especially for setting up offshore companies.

The finance minister said that if the GDP growth of the country will be increase the jobs creation will also enhance in this regard. He said  government is going to launch micro economic finance committee in next month of July.

Dar said that the current government has abolished the SROs (statutory regulatory order), in this way GDP growth will also enhance its volume but on the other hand government still consider  issuance of SROs for some of welfare organizations such as Edhi and some of other humanitarian organizations.
