FIR registered against BD Enterprises on charges of submitting 11 fake E-forms valuing $11.64m

KARACHI: Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Port Muhammad Bin Qasim-Exports has lodged an FIR against M/s BD Enterprises on account of submission of 11 forged E-forms valuing US$11.64 million in exportation of gold to other foreign countries, it is learnt here.

Sources informed Customs Today that the MCC-Exports has found that export amounting of Rs 7.4 billion made by M/s BD Enterprises on fake E-forms and eventually decided to register an FIR against the exporter in using forged E-forms valuing US $11.64 million.

Sources further disclosed this scribe that the authorities concerned of MCC-Exports have detected that the M/s BD Enterprises has used around 109 fake E-forms in export of gold to other countries, while the authorities have registered FIR against only 11 forged E-forms.

“The fate of remaining 98 fake E-forms are still in pending by the authorities concerned of the MCC-Exports Port Muhammad Bin Qasim”, sources added.

They further said that the authorities concerned of MCC-Exports Port Muhammad Bin Qasim are planning to take similar kind of action against other exporters including M/s Rubab Corporation and M/s Saani Impex, following the similar lines of action, which has been taken by the Customs authorities against the crooked exporter.

To a query, Sources further claimed that the authorities concerned of MCC-Exports have also worked out the export data of two other exporters i.e. M/s Rubab Corporation and M/s Saani Impex and found that the exporters were allegdly involved in exporting gold worth Rs 2 billion and Rs 2.2 billion respectively on fake E-forms.

Apprising the details further, sources added that the authorities concerned of MCC-Exports Port Muhammad Bin Qasim have found that the M/s Saani Impex was involved in using 42 fake E-forms and M/s Rubab Corporation used 46 fake E-forms in exporting gold and other precious metals to foreign countries and gave billions of rupees colossal loss to the country’s foreign exchange.

Responding to a query, sources confirmed that the authorities concerned of MCC-Exports Port Muhammad Bin Qasim will register more FIRs against all three exporters i.e. M/s BD Enterprises, M/s Rubab Corporation and M/s Saani Impex in upcoming days.
