LAHORE: Five trailers which were caught by Dera Ghazi Khan police few days ago on suspicions of carrying smuggled items worth millions of rupees were handed over to Customs Intelligence and Investigations Multan officials.
Customs Intelligence officials said that they found hundreds of tyres, foreign brand cigarettes and fabric worth millions of rupees when these trailers were opened here.
They said the value of goods was being assessed for proper assessment of tax to be paid by the owner of the trailers.
