Food Dept achieves 78pc wheat procurement target

MULTAN: The Food Department Multan division has achieved 78 percent target of wheat purchase as it procured 526,976 tonnes of wheat.

According to the Food Department sources on Tuesday, District Multan procured 179,457 tonnes of wheat. Similarly, districts Lodharan, Vehari, and Khanewal purchased 79,221, 121,336, and 146,961 tonnes of wheat respectively.
