NEW YORK: The North American based automobile manufacturer, Ford will be presented at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show with a vehicle lineup which will include the brand new Focus RS hot hatch and GT supercar.
The brand new Focus RS and GT supercar are getting ready to make their European debut as they will be officially presented at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The announcement has been made recently by the car manufacturer and besides these, the Focus ST, the Focus ST Diesel and the Fiesta ST. The lineup will not end here as the carmaker will also bring the Mustang Coupe and Mustang Convertible at the same automotive event.
The new Ford Focus RS has a 2.3 liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine under its hood, shared with the mid-range Mustang, which is rated at 315 HP (235 kW). Power will be sent, for the very first time, to the all-wheel drive system. The model has an aggressive exterior design, a new body kit, dual exhaust system, 19-inch alloy wheels, Recaro seats, rearview camera, SYNC, 10-speaker Sony audio system and more. The Ford GT on the other hand is still more than a year away from being seen on the streets. The supercar has a mid-mounted twin turbo V6 engine, which is rated at 600 HP (447 kW), as the company is stating. This is connected to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The GT has an evolutionary design and it will be hitting the assembly line by the end of 2016.
