France’s Groupe Crit revenue cilmbs by 13.9% to €469.8m in Q1

PARIS: French staffing firm Groupe Crit reported revenue for the first quarter ending 31 March 2016 of €469.8 million, an increase of 13.9% in constant currency, compared with the same period last year.

Both domestic and international operations contributed to the company’s growth. International business made up almost 25% of Q1 revenue.

Within the staffing & recruitment division, revenue accounted for 85% of total revenue which amounted to €399.7 million, up 15.5% compared to the same period last year.

Within the company’s international operations, US operations reported growth with revenue of €69.5 million rising by 9.4% (up 6.1% on a like-for-like perimeter basis and constant change). In Spain, revenue grew by 19.7% to €21.1 million.

For its multi-services division, Groupe Crit revenue was up 4.7% to €73.9 million. In airport services (71.5% of activity of the division), first-quarter revenue grew by 3.5% to €52.9 million.

In view of this successful first quarter, Groupe Crit remains confident for the full year and confirms its objective to exceed €2 billion in revenue in 2016.

In trading today, Groupe Crit set a new 52-week high when its’ share price reached €57.62, up 1.68% on the day. Over this period, the share price is up 18.92%. Based on its current share price, the company has a market value of €632.81 million.
