FST adjourns hearing of cases filed against FBR during fourth week of September

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) reserved decision on a case, seeking ‘implementation’ and adjourned hearing of many other cases challenging administrative order of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) during fourth week of September.

FST divisional bench comprising  Members, Ishtiaq Ahmed and Dr Nazir Saeed, heard the case and reserved the order after hearing arguments from sides on a case submitted by Muhammad Saleem . He had filed the case against the FBR and had asked the tribunal to ensure implementation over its earlier announced order in order to provide him justice.

The bench also heard other cases filed by Ahmed Hussain, Muhammad Nawaz, Fakhar-ul-Islam and Darvesh Khan. The had filed cases submitting please regarding ‘restoration of main appeal’, ‘dismissal’, ‘seniority’ and ‘special allowance equal to 100 percent salary’, respectively.

The bench adjourned hearing of these cases till next month after counsels involved sought time from the tribunal to prepare their cases further.

Same bench also heard complaint about un-granted promotion filed by Faisal Irshad. He had filed this complaint during 2015 which was still pending for decision before the tribunal. However, the department had now filed its response over the case.

Meanwhile, FST divisional bench comprising tribunal Chairman Justice (r) Syed Zahid Hussain and Muhammad Hamid; and Ishtiaq Ahmed and Dr Nazir Saeed heard the transfer case filed by M Sharif Awan, regularization of acting charge case filed by M Yasin, and Muhammad Saleem and Anwar Zeb. The bench had adjourned hearing of thse cases following counsels submissions.
