FST adjourns hearing of FBR cases

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of cases filed against the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), carrying matters relating to promotion, and transfers.

A division bench of the FST comprising tribunal Chairman Justice (r) Syed Zahid Hussain, Muhammad Hamid, Ishtiaq Ahmed and Dr Nazir Saeed heard the cases. Many cases were dated in the office and hence would be relisted for hearing by the administration at certain dates.

FST DB comprising of tribunal Chairman Justice (r) Syed Zahid Hussain heard transfer case filed by M Sharif Awan, regularization of acting charge case filed by M Yasin, and cunsure cases filed by Muhammad Saleem and Anwar Zeb.

Similarly, Ishtiaq Ahmed and Dr Nazir Saeed heard complaints on promotion, filed by Ghulam Akbar Chandio, Riaz ul Haq, Sohail Ahmed Qureshi, Sajjad Ahmed, Shabbir Ahmed Nasir, and Saleem Akhtar. Hakim Ali Soomro’s case carrying Increment matter was also dated in office.
