FST adjourns hearing of several complaints filed by FBR employees

ISLAMABAD: A single bench of Federal Service Tribunal on Friday adjourned hearing of several service matters filed against Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

FST division bench comprising members, Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Dr Nazir Saeed heard the cases carrying complaints about seniority and implementation by the FBR.  The bench adjourned hearing of the cases till October 21.

Appellants M Taimur and M Jamil filed petitions regarding implementation of FST decisions by the FBR. They had been granted their due promotion but yet the FBR had not implemented tribunal’s orders in letter and spirit. They had pleaded the tribunal to ensure implementation over its earlier given decisions.

The bench is also set to hear the case filed by Naveed Afgan. He had filed plea about seniority matter which he was not been granted by the FBR.
