FST adjourns promotion, seniority cases against FBR

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of cases filed against the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) regarding the promotions.

A division bench of the FST comprising Members Muhammad Arshad and M Javed Iqbal Kasi heard and remanded back a case filed by Mansoor Sadiq who had taken up a seniority matter before the tribunal. The bench directed the counsels involved to submit relating documents before the tribunal prior to June 22.

Meanwhile, Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Dr Nazir Saeed heard and adjourned hearing of six promotion cases filed by Fakhr-e-Azam, Chand Bibi, Sami-ul-Haq, Noor Jamal, Shafqat Rasool Sindhu and Iftikhar Qutab.

Members Syed Hamid and Ishtiaq Ahmed also adjourned hearing of Inam ul Haque case in implementation.
