ISLAMABAD: Two division benches of Federal Service Tribunal reserved decision on three service matters during second week of November after completing hearing of arguments by sides.

Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Dr Nazir Saeed heard the case filed by Muhammad Luqman and reserved the decision. The appellant had filed an ‘implementation’ complaint.

The bench reserved the decision on a case filed by Muhammad Luqman seeking implementation of FST’s earlier decision pertaining to his promotion.

FST division bench, comprising Ishtiaq Ahmed and Syed Muhammad Hamid, reserved decision on the cases filed by appellants’ Sajjad Ahmed and Muhammad Shafiq.

The bench reserved decision on the cases carrying submission about ‘extension of study leave’ and ‘correction of date of birth’ filed by employees of FBR.

FBR employee, Sajjad Haider had filed case about ‘extension of study leave’ while Muhammad Shafiq had lodged an application for ‘correction of date of birth’. Sajjad had asked the tribunal to direct the board to grant him leave for study what employees had been availing at the board since many years. He mentioned that it was necessary for his career and promotion at the board. Earlier, the bench had heard arguments on the cases by sides before adjourning the matter.
