FST benches will hear various cases filed by FBR employees today

ISLAMABAD: Three benches of the Federal Service Tribunal (FST) would hear various cases on Thursday (today) filed by the employees of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) against their department.

A division bench of the FST comprising members, Syed Muhammad Hamid and Ishtiaq Ahmed, will hear a majority of cases carrying complaints about “special allowance equal to 100 percent of the basic pay”, “special allowance” and “seniority” matters.

Amjid Ali, Shahzad Muhammad Amir, Ali Gohar, Shahid, Syed Jamil Shah, Mehboob Ali Khan, Muhammad Ishfaq, Asadullah, Gohar Zaman and Attaullah Khattak had filed petitions seeking “special allowance equal to 100 percent of the basic pay.”

Muhammad Ashraf, Javed Alam and Shafqat had filed pleas regarding special allowance while Khalid Mehmood had filed a petition about his seniority at FBR.

Another bench of FST comprising Muhammad Arshad Bhatti and Syed Rafique Hussain Shah would hear implementation and other matters filed by Muhammad Luqman, Muhammad Iqbal Minhas and Muhammad Arshad Rahim.

Meanwhile, Members Muhammad Arshad Bhatti and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi would take on hearing of Abdul Ghafoor’s case seeking revision of an FST order.
