FST postpones hearing of cases filed by FBR employees to different dates

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal heard plenty of cases challenging promotions, financial incentives and seniority granting policy of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) during the first week of June.

The FST benches comprising Muhammad Arshad Bhatti and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi and, Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Nazir Saeed heard these cases. Hearing of these cases was adjourned to different dates.

Another bench of the FST comprising Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Nazir Saeed heard the cases filed by Muhammad Shakeel Akhtar, Tariq Masood, Ghulam Sarwar Qureshi, Syed Salahuddin Gillani, Khalid Hameed,  and others, raising questions regarding ‘antedating’ promotion, seniority, and financial incentives to the employees.
