ISLAMABAD: Two division benches of the Federal Service Tribunal (FST) will hear plenty of cases on Tuesday (today) carrying different complaints against the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
The FST benches, comprising Members, Ishtiaq Ahmed and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi; and another bench of Member Rafique Shah and Dr Nazir, would hear around 16 cases of the FBR employees.
Ishtiaq Ahmed and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi will resume hearing of three recently filed cases carrying complaints about ‘dismissal from services’, ‘withholding of two annual increments’, and others.
The bench had dated in office the hearing of these cases during last hearing and had asked the board to submit reply in the cases filed by Muhammad Arshad Rahim, Rahim and Ejaz Ahmed Bajwa.
Another bench of FST, comprising Member Rafique Shah and Dr Nazir would hear cases filed by Attique Ahmed Abbasi, Zeeshan Zafar, Mian Muhammad Shahzad, Mian Asif Mehmood, Ch. Muhammad Sajid, Ahmad Din, Rizwan Jillani, Muhammad Younas, Muhammad Hussain, Muhammad Rafique, and Abdul Basit.
The appellants had submitted complaints about their due promotion which was not yet granted by the department. They have prayed the tribunal to issue necessary directives to the board in this regard.
The bench had also heard the same petitions during last week. The appellants had prayed the tribunal to hold speedy hearing of their complaints and dispose them office at the earliest in order to bring justice to them.
