KARACHI: Customs Collectorate Gawadar has seized betel nut, Indian gutkha and 32 cartons of foreign origin juice.
Sources told Customs Today that Customs Collectorate has received a phone call regarding the above said illegal items stored in a godown near Mashi colony. Customs Collectorate constituted a special team and conducted search operation against the illegal activities. During the operation customs team raided a godown and seized thousands of packets of Indian chalia, Indian gutkha and 32 cartons of Iranian juice.
Customs team seized the smuggled items and registered a case against the accused person. Further investigations are underway in this regard.
