Government focuses on economic developments of South Punjab, Shehzad Rana

MULTAN: Government is focusing on the economic developments of South Punjab with the trade promotion to bring prosperity in the region said by Director General Punjab Trade and Development Authority of Punjab Shehzad Rana.

He was addressing with the members of Chamber of Commerce and Industry that business community of South Punjab should play its vital role in the economic development of South Punjab by ensuring their participation in business activities.  He said that mango, cotton and handicrafts are the symbols of South Punjab in the whole world.

Inauguration of Multan International Airport will boost the import and export of South Punjab and the credit for its completion also goes to this elected government of Pakistan. He said that the International Airport will facilitate the business community of this region and it would bring prosperity in the region of South Punjab as it is only an International Airport in the location.

He stressed on the business community that the manufacturers of this region should participate in the exhibition held at the various parts of the world and trade development of authority of Pakistan will assist them in promotion of their commercial articles.

He told that trade development of authority of Pakistan is organizing seminars in the various parts of the country for the participation and progress of woman in the business and trade development authority of Pakistan is giving 50% subsidy to participants of exhibitions in the country and outside the country.

Tax Refund matters are under process in the committee of trade development authority of Pakistan and those cases are paid their refund amount which have their complete case and he also admitted that the cost of electricity in the Pakistan is too high which increase the  expanses of manufacturing and it affects the manufacturing of business community too.

No one compel anyone for the investment in any place investors participate in the investment with their own willing and the atmosphere of investment is not good so far in the Country due to terrorism and law in order situation he added.

Alamgeer Khan,Khawaja Muhammad Younas , Khawaja Usman and members have also presented their suggestions for the improvement of business conditions during the event.
